After a month of unpacking, arranging, rearranging, seeing family, settling in...I feel like I am re launching my business. I have had repeat customers order which has been great but I definitely feel like I fell off the earth for a minute. I am trying not to be hard on myself as my family did just move across the country but I am ready to get back to butter making! I have spent some time in September working on new scents and found that I cannot avoid doing a Pumpkin Spice for the fall. I love the scent in anything from coffee to candles so why not. Mine has a little pumpkin (the only non organic ingredient, but all natural), cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and a little ginger. It's heavenly and reminds me of home; walking into my mom's on a crisp fall day...there isn't much better than that.
Soon after we moved to Colorado, parts of the state were hit with torrential rainfalls which caused flooding and severe damage to many homes. So many people lost everything! As part of an effort to give back and help our new neighbors, I am giving $2 of every jar sold in October to flood relief victims. Please consider this along with the fact that my butter is amazing if you are thinking of purchasing one soon! It would be a great blessing to others!
My future? I've checked out several farmers markets already and although they are winding down for the season, I am just starting my research of where I want to be next year! I would like to be at 2-3 a week. I have also applied to be in a high end consignment shop and left samples at several salons and spas.
I am also looking into making a Scent Sampler and having 3 oz jars before the holidays. I think it would be good for people to be able to buy 4 scents and really see what they like. The smaller jars will be good for travel size too!
I know the product is wonderful and I think you will too if you try it! Now it's just a matter of continuing to get out there and let people know about it. To all of you that are already hooked and continuing to buy...THANK YOU!!! We could not do this without you and I am excited to see things unfold and where this goes!
Ps...I apologize for late night ramblings or poor grammar. I have a sick child laying in my lap but I wanted to make sure I had this out for my October special! :) Love, E
