Fall is upon us. As I sit here clicking away, I have the window open to a cool breeze, a neighbor is mowing his grass for probably one of the last times and I see my garden withering away in the sun. Summer was great, fast and tough all together. I did my first farmers market and I'd say it was a success. I have several people that have become repeat customers. I definitely learned a lot, have goals for other kinds of craft fairs and markets and what I want to do with my body care products and booth. Exciting for sure!
I've added my sugar scrubs and my fall scent Orange Spice to the website. I don't know if I am just that computer illiterate or if because it's a free site it's hard to navigate, but it just took me two days to add 2 things. Of course that is with one of two 3 year olds pulling on my leg (like right now b/c he has stuck himself in my office trash can)...no, seriously. But it's small things like the fact that even though I kept trying to put the sugar scrubs below ALL of the butters, Weebly kept insisting that it go above my new one. With that said, I'm praying for enough fall sales to upgrade my service, maybe even add a way to offer discount codes and free shipping! Wow, the possibilities!
I have so many ideas and thoughts swirling for this business, where it can go and where it can lead our family. I would love to start a family reunification program in Uganda and although if I wait for it to the be "right" time, it never will so this is our big prayer right now. What are we to be doing to start this? We still have quite a bit of adoption debt we are seriously tackling and right now that is our main focus. We just feel trapped under it but are working on finding a way to the light.
Big dreams, big hearts and big thoughts...something Good will come of it!
I hope those of you that read this have a wonderful fall season. Go pick apples and pumpkins, go see changing leaves, rake them up into a pile and jump in like a kid. Go listen to the river before it's iced over. Enjoy outside as much as possible!! Thanks again for buying from a stay at home, slightly crazed, loving life Mom! You are making our dreams a reality and I hope in turn, your skin feels and looks amazing!
